What We Do
At Atlas Retail Energy, we develop and implement custom energy management strategies. and utilize top-tier suppliers in the market for both natural gas and electricity.
We perform a blind RFP (request for proposals) on your behalf and then, in real-time, verify the legitimacy of the prices received from the suppliers through our wholesale insight and expertise. This real-time verification process allows us to reduce premiums and excess supplier margins on your behalf.

Pete Lawlor is Managing Director at Atlas Retail Energy. Pete joined Atlas in 2018 after three years in a similar role at Tradition Energy. In his 10+ years as an energy professional, he has advised large commercial and industrial organizations all over the U.S. on electricity and natural gas procurement decisions. Pete has helped his clients achieve millions in cost savings over the course of his career. In addition to supporting his clients in navigating the energy markets, Pete is responsible for developing new business relationships for Atlas. He is consistently a top performer and is involved in the hiring and training for new members of the Atlas team. Pete is responsible for overseeing ARE’s greater Boston office. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lehigh University.

Billy Trainor is the Director of Pricing at Atlas Retail Energy. He joined Atlas in 2025 after more than a decade at Best Practice Energy, where he most recently served as Director of Client Strategy and Director of Operations. With over 10 years of experience in the energy industry, Billy has worked closely with suppliers to ensure pricing comparisons are accurate and that contract terms align with cost expectations. He also collaborates with advisors to help large commercial and industrial energy users develop effective cost management strategies for both electricity and natural gas. In addition to leading the pricing team, Billy oversees client service operations, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly and effectively. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Eric Sinitski is a Principal Energy Analyst at Atlas Retail Energy. Eric began his career in customer contract management supported by an analytical background in Mathematics from Northeastern University. Since joining the Atlas team in 2021, Eric thrives in operational excellence, supporting clients’ needs with a boutique methodology. He loves unraveling the connections that tether the global energy markets and how it could impact your energy future. He keeps a daily pulse on the ever-shifting energy environment specifically in deregulated Power and Natural Gas states. In his free time Eric enjoys playing the piano with his children and the creative process behind board game design.
